DR.B.R. Ambedkar Medical College, Kadugondanahalli was established in 1981 by Ananda Social and Education Trust, with the objective of providing primary, secondary and tertiary health care facilities to the deserving. The college is now affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The college runs the MBBS course as well as post-graduate courses in many subjects that are recognized by the Medical Council of India. The institution also envisages producing doctors with best possible professional knowledge and attitude of service above self, both at undergraduate and post graduate levels.
